There is an art club at work, they organised an exhibition of employee"s art and I'm there of course. My work is for sale and it will be interesting to see if anyone buys. The exhibition continues for two weeks. Personally, it is more important that my bosses see my art and understand why I have decided to work half time. Getting lots of nice comments from fellow employees so that's great.
Very good choice on exhibition, I can remenber each one, and I´m sure you are going to miss your work cause you are saling it. If I were there sure that one will be mine.Your bosses must be crazy if they can´t understand your decission.Congratulations cause I know you are going to have all you deserve..
ReplyDeleteThanks setxu. The company I work for have been very supportive so far. I am very grateful for this. I currently work 50%, two weeks on and two weeks as an artist, this will be re-evaluated after six months.

ReplyDeleteThank you Nina! Yes, it's very nice hearing people's positive comments. I'm slowly learning the trade of being an artist. I also realise that it's not going to be an easy life. Selling work and making enough to live off is difficult. Funny, the paths we take, "Oh, there's a difficult one!" and we run merrily down it. ;)
