Lars Lerin - Kanal 12 i Varmland
Lars Lerin is probably the most interesting and talented watercolourist living in Sweden today. Here are three interviews about Lars and his work. The videos are in Swedish unfortunately. You can see his paintings here is you are not familiar with his work. He doesn't seem to have a web-gallery which is a pity. There is a documentary I would like to see called, "För dig naken", it was filmed by his niece, Sara Bross and was released in 2012.

A pity not to understand what he´s saying, i´ve heard from him 2 years ago,and now I know, the best watercolorists are from the north, Lerin and you.
ReplyDeleteWow, I'm shocked that you consider me to be on the same level as Lars Lerin. If I practice hard for some more years, maybe I can get close to hisOf the medium. I am ambitious, but I wonder where my limits are?
ReplyDeleteGotta love him. There is actually a web gallery of some of his watercolours, on the homepage of Sandgrund, his new big exhibition hall in Karlstad:

I was there, it´s pretty impressive to see these paintings in real life.
Thanks for the tip, I'll check it out. I'd love to see his work in real life.
